LEA-SMO/SUE 2-Piece Leather Strop, 1" x 6" / 25 x 150 mm

Complete the sharpening process with the SHARPAL Smooth and Suede Leather Strop Plate Set. The set includes one suede cowhide strop and one smooth cowhide strop. Both surfaces are designed for final burr removal, edge refinement, and polishing after sharpening. The suede surface provides good retention for coarser stropping compounds and diamond emulsions. The smooth surface is suited to finer compounds and final polishing. The prepared leather surfaces help distribute compound or emulsion evenly for controlled and consistent stropping. Each strop is mounted on a 1" × 6" beveled-end metal backing plate for use with the SHARPAL Universal Abrasive Plate Holder and other compatible holders. Always move the blade spine-first, with the cutting edge trailing away from the direction of travel. Do not use back-and-forth sharpening strokes on the leather.
