Discover the art of creating fine silver from precious metal clay! In this beginner-friendly class, you'll learn how to transform soft silver clay into a beautiful one-of-a-kind pendant. You'll be guided through every step of the process, including: rolling & shaping precious metal clay, adding textures, patterns or stamped designs, refining and smoothing your piece, setting a fireable cubic zirconia stone, preparing and firing your piece in a kiln, finishing, polishing and bringing out the shine of your fine silver pendant. No prior jewelry making experience is necessary. All tools, materials and instructions are provided. By the end of the workshop, you'll take home a handcrafted silver pendant! Perfect for beginners, art enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a creative and rewarding experience. What to Bring & Wear: For your safety, please wear closed-toe shoes and avoid loose-fitting clothing. Pants or skirts that extend to at least the knee are recommended. If you wear glasses for close-up work, please bring them to class. If you have hair past your shoulders, please arrive with it tied back or bring something to tie it back with.
