Antique Small Welsh Oak Dresser Base

A charming antique Welsh oak dresser base of compact proportions. Fitted with two drawers retaining brass swan-neck handles above a shaped apron, the base is raised on simple turned front supports with a full-width potboard below. The oak has a warm tone, pleasing grain and a rich patina developed over many years. Grooves to the top from the original dresser rack remain, as shown, but do not detract from its overall appearance. Overall, a lovely, honest example with good colour and proportions.
