They are one of the first fresh herbs that I work into dishes in the early spring. It always creates a bit of excitement when I start tossing them on my morning eggs because winter is nearing its end and spring is here along with all of its punchy flavors! If maintained this variety will continuously produce thin green tender leaves. Though if you let it go to bloom, you can make vinegars and other dishes with the chive blossoms too. Cut back the blooms and it will start to grow chives again. Once established will form clumps that are easy to propagate. Approx. 200 seeds/ packet
