Designed with architecture+, this tranquil sanctuary for patients prioritizes an architecture of serenity and emotional respite within a behavioral health environment. The intimate, human-scaled space utilizes controlled natural daylighting, warm natural wood, and visual connections to a contemplative courtyard to foster a deep sense of calm. Through clean geometry, flexible non-denominational form, and a refined, non-institutional material palette, the design creates a peaceful refuge for reflection and healing across diverse beliefs.
