This sample of our Black Passepartout with White Core measures 15×15 cm with a 3.5 cm wide corner, making it easy to compare it with your artwork, frame and interior. The deep black surface has a refined, subtle texture, while the white core creates a crisp contrast around the window opening for a classic and sophisticated presentation. Our passepartouts (also known as mats or mounts) are made from 1.5 mm acid-free premium board to help protect artwork from discolouration and ageing. A passepartout also creates a natural gap between the glazing and the artwork, adds depth to the framing and naturally draws attention to the artwork. Your artwork can be positioned either beneath or on top of the passepartout, depending on the presentation you prefer. Every passepartout is precision cut to your exact dimensions.
