Uni Posca Markers PC-5M, 8 set Portrait Colors

This eight-marker Uni Posca PC-5M set is built around portrait and figure work: a run of skin, shading and highlight tones from soft pinks through to dark browns, so you can build a face or a body without hunting for the right shades across other sets. What makes that possible is the paint itself. Posca's water-based pigment dries opaque and matte, which means a lighter tone laid over a darker one actually covers it rather than sinking in — you can put highlights over shadow, or correct a tone by going straight over the top, without the lower layer bleeding through or smudging. Let each pass dry and it stays put under the next. The 1.8–2.5mm bullet tip reverses in the barrel and gives enough control for facial detail as well as broader areas of skin. The paint is non-toxic, odourless, and free of alcohol and solvents, and it holds its colour well over time. It works on the usual Posca surfaces — paper, canvas, wood, board, and more — permanent on porous ones and wipeable off smooth non-porous ones.
