Sarah Forno Pottery handmade functional and decorative pottery My introduction to ceramics started with slip mold ceramics in middle school. Just after high school, I took a regular pottery class at the local community college. I was hooked. Over the next several years I took more and more classes, ending up with an associate degree in pottery. Life demanded I move in another direction. For the next 25 years, I had no access to clay. I raised my kids, and took care of adult things. I longed for clay. When we arrived in Tennessee I saw classes were available locally. I pulled my wheel out of storage and have been creating it ever since. Today I make functional and decorative pottery in my home studio in Fairview, TN.
