2022 was a remarkably hot vintage, the warmest on record in the UK. Yet the Sugrue, old and deep-rooted vines were able to access sufficient water through the drought. Producing fruit of balance and concentration. Due to the ripeness of the vintage they avoided any malolactic fermentation and added only a low dosage of 6g/L.
