Safari Tour & Tasting

Your Behind-The-Scenes Vineyard Experience This intimate tour and tasting experience offers you and your guests a chance to discover hidden areas of the estate that are not accessible on other tours. With a maximum of 4 people per Safari, this is an unparalleled opportunity to gain an in-depth knowledge of Hambledon Wine Estate in the company of one of our knowledgeable and friendly guides. Your guide will take you through the vine’s growing season, explain the work that takes place at key stages of the year and talk about some of the challenges growing grapes in a cool climate brings. You will enjoy a sparkling aperitif overlooking the vines (weather permitting; in inclement weather the aperitif will take place inside), before returning to our Visitor's Centre for a guided tasting of three of our sparkling wines. The experience lasts about an hour, after which you may like to enjoy lunch in our Courtyard Restaurant. *Please note, the maximum capacity for this experience is 4 people. If your booking is for less than 4, you may be sharing the Defender vehicle with others.
