Set of 6 Victorian Carved Dining Chairs, Striped Upholstery

Six Victorian carved dining chairs with oval pierced backs and turned front legs. The seats are upholstered in a red and gold striped fabric and the frames are solid and substantial, typical of late 19th‑century dining furniture. They would work well as a matched set for a dining room or for reupholstery to suit a contemporary scheme. Many of the seats show marks, small stains and general wear to the upholstery; the wood surfaces have scuffs, scratches and a few small chips to rails and edges consistent with age and use. The finish shows signs of rubbing in places and would benefit from light restoration or re‑polishing if a more uniform appearance is required.
