Every sale parcel is individually numbered and colour-coded against a precise Ordnance Survey base. The unusually dense surrounding detail names Whiteley’s, Bayswater Station, Queen’s Ice Club, Princess Court and numerous hotels and public houses, capturing Bayswater’s mid-century mixture of shopping, transport, lodging and residential terraces. With fifty-nine lots and thirty pages of associated particulars, this is one of the most substantial sections of the sale.
