Sew a tote, then take it for its very first shopping trip! A simple tote bag is one of the best beginner sewing projects - it's fun, easy to make, and incredibly useful. In this special class, you'll sew your own lined tote bag with sturdy handles, then you're invited to meet us at the Decatur Farmers Market (transportation not included - but it's a short drive from the studio). There, you'll enjoy a guided market tour and receive a $10 market tokens to spend on fresh fruits and vegetables while putting your brand-new tote to work! This introductory class will walk you through the basics of using a sewing machine while creating a beautiful tote you'll use again and again.
