Dried Persimmons

Soft, chewy and naturally honey-sweet, our dried persimmons are made from ripe Himalayan fruit with nothing added. Inspired by Hoshigaki — the Japanese tradition of slowly hanging and drying whole persimmons — the fruit gradually loses moisture, deepening in flavour and developing a rich, almost date-like texture. As they dry, some persimmons naturally develop a delicate white sugar bloom, while others remain a warm brownish-orange. Both are completely natural — every fruit simply dries a little differently.
