Bring any clean denim clothing you’re ready to swap or customize. Browse the Community Closet brought to you by the amzing @COMMUNITYCLOSETAZ and and choose something that is new to you! Use acrylic paint, rhinestones and gems to transform your denim. Leave with a completely personalized piece and some new friends. You can bring jeans, jackets, shorts, skirts, shirts or other clean denim clothing, even tote bags! If you'd like to contribute to the community closet, please only bring items that are clean and in a condition someone else would be excited to wear. Bring at least one clean denim item you’d be happy to swap or upcycle. The Community Closet depends on what guests contribute, so we cannot guarantee particular sizes, styles or items. If you already have something you definitely want to decorate, bring it with you! We recommend wearing clothes you don’t mind crafting in. Acrylic paint can permanently stain clothing. Come Craft and Make New Friends This isn’t a formal, step-by-step class. We’ll explain how everything works at the beginning, then you can swap, paint and decorate at your own pace. Come with friends or arrive solo. Everyone will be working on their own denim transformation, so it’s easy to talk, trade ideas and meet fellow thrifters, crafters and sustainable-fashion lovers. Frequently Asked Questions Do I have to bring denim? Please bring clean denim to contribute, customize or swap. If you have a particular piece you want to decorate, bring it so you aren’t dependent on finding your size in the Community Closet. What kinds of denim can I bring? Clean denim clothing, including jeans, jackets, shorts, skirts and shirts. Please do not bring dirty, heavily damaged or unwearable items. Are upcycling supplies included? Yes! Your ticket includes acrylic paint, rhinestones, gems and the tools needed for the activity. Do I need sewing or painting experience? No. This is a beginner-friendly, self-paced event, and our team will be available if you need help. Can I walk in? No. Reservations are required because seating is limited. Can I reschedule? With at least 48 hours’ notice, your booking may be converted into store credit. All bookings are non-refundable.
