Rubus hybrid The first primocane-fruiting blackberry of the ‘Prime-Ark®’ line released by the University of Arkansas in 2011. Prime-Ark® 45 bears fruit on its first-year growth. This everbearing variety is an early producer with nice size, firm, and flavorful berries perfect for fresh eating. A wonderful addition to gardens in cool summer regions. Drought tolerant, cold hardy, and resistant to rust. Self-pollinating, fast growing canes reach 5 to 6 feet tall and wide. Zones 5-8.
