Early Victorian Rosewood Tilt-Top Card / Console Table

An early Victorian rosewood tilt‑top card table that doubles as a compact console or hall table. The top swivels to reveal a green baize playing surface and there is a single drawer to the side. The figured rosewood veneer and turned, carved pedestal are typical of mid‑19th century provincial furniture. Dimensions Width: 91cm Depth: 45cm Height: 76cm Condition Structurally sound with a working swivel top, drawer and original brass castors. The green baize is in good condition. The top shows marks and scratches throughout and there is one section of cracked and slightly raised veneer; there are also signs of previous repair to the top edging veneer. Surface finish has age related wear consistent with use; these issues are noted in the images and in the supplied condition report.
