MBS | Optics U.L.R Ultra Light Rugged Optics Set

The MBS Optics Ultra Light Ruggedized eyepiece and objective lens set is built for compatibility with any housing that accepts standard PVS-14 pattern optics. Both the diopter and objective assemblies feature reinforced aluminum interfaces to increase durability and help prevent damage from impacts and drops, two of the most common failure points found in conventional optic sets. The eyepiece lens of the MBS ULR will come with with the Steele Industries Lightweight Rugged Diopter and diopter lock ring. Despite its ruggedized construction, the complete optic set weighs only 98g, delivering a lightweight yet highly durable solution for night vision systems. In comparison a Noctis lens set weighs 126g, giving a 56g (or roughly at 10%) weight reduction in binocular NVG systems, all while providing increased durability. Optical testing shows excellent flare suppression characteristics, contrast, and ~8% improved light transmission over Noctis optics.
