This jacket is a reconstruction of a super rare black-based Chimayo rug jacket from the 1930s-40s, with color scheme adjustments while preserving the original atmosphere. The fabric is woven in the Bishu region using a full-pattern jacquard loom, of which only one currently exists. (This is the factory introduced in the JELADO channel's "Blanket" episode.) The material composition is 81% wool / 11% cotton / 9% nylon. The warp uses 30/2 combed cotton yarn, and by selecting heavy cotton, it achieves a firm handfeel. The weft uses yarn made by twisting nylon into wool blended with Merino wool, achieving both strength and flexibility. Furthermore, by weaving the weft in four layers, a quadruple-weave structure is created, resulting in a fabric with overwhelming depth and three-dimensionality. The finishing process involves a natural finish followed by resin treatment to add crispness and body. This achieves both the softness characteristic of a rug and the robustness to maintain the jacket's shape. The collar, cuffs, and side adjusters are switched to corduroy, following vintage designs. The front features eyelet zippers, and the sides have buckles, incorporating details that enhance the atmosphere down to the finest points. The silhouette has been updated from previous models with wider shoulders and more room in the armholes and sleeves. While retaining its rugged appeal, the size balance has been updated to be easily worn by adults. Black-based Chimayo pattern, heavy weaving, and modern wearability.
