Verona Piecework Pillow - Venetian Backdrop, Silk Velvet and Lurex

Our Verona Pillow is a piecework composition drawing from fragments of cotton, embroidery salvaged from an antique Venetian stage backdrop, hand-dyed silk velvet, and hand-dyed cottons, grounded in dead-stock linens with bits of a more complex linen weave. Highlights of a vintage Indian woven silk with lurex thread to catch the light. - 22" x 21" - Linen on the reverse - Feather and down insert - Knife-edge finish - Concealed zipper - Ref. P-1279 Flaws in vintage and antique fabrics are valued and appreciated. These may include patina, fading, odd stitching, and the occasional raw edges.
