Grima Rum | Mobula

Mobula is a rum from Réunion, crafted from molasses sourced from the Savanna distillery, column-distilled and aged in Bourbon casks before being finished in former Bordeaux Sauvignon Blanc barrels. This French spirit subtly combines Réunion terroir with Gironde influence. Mobula is bottled at 47.6% ABV, yet remains smooth and well-balanced. It reveals a gourmand nose of nuts, honey, and milk chocolate. On the palate, a fresh opening evolves into notes of mango and citrus, with a mineral and slightly spicy finish. Best enjoyed neat. A perfect pairing with a Creole dish such as rougail saucisse.
