Product description 🔇 Mapei Mapesonic CR acoustic underlay – reduce footstep noise Mapesonic CR by Mapei is a rubber and cork soundproofing membrane laid under your new floor covering. It limits the transmission of impact noise (footsteps, heels, moving chairs, falling objects) to the rooms and floors below. Thanks to its very low thickness, it is particularly suited to renovation when the available height is limited. 📏 Two thicknesses available ✔️ 2 mm: 20 m x 1 m roll, i.e. 20 m² ✔️ 4 mm: 10 m x 1 m roll, i.e. 10 m² 🏠 For which floors? ✔️ Ceramic tiles, porcelain stoneware and natural stone ✔️ Engineered parquet ✔️ Resilient floor coverings: PVC, rubber, linoleum It can be laid on cement screeds or over old tiles and stone, and it is compatible with underfloor heating thanks to its low thickness. ✅ Features ✔️ Composition: rubber and cork, made from recycled and recyclable materials ✔️ Footstep noise reduction: 10 dB (measured with the 2 mm version under tiles) ✔️ Thermal resistance: 0.024 m²·K/W (2 mm) and 0.048 m²·K/W (4 mm) ✔️ Very low emissions: EMICODE EC1 Plus rating ✔️ Roll weight: approx. 32 kg ✔️ Brand: Mapei 🛠️ Installation tips The substrate must be clean, dry and level. Unroll the sheets along the longest side of the room, then bond the membrane and the floor covering with a suitable adhesive.
