Aerpro FP3076 10" Facia Kit for Volkswagen Trapezoid Head Unit

Aerpro FP3076 10" Trapezoid Facia Kit for Volkswagen The Aerpro FP3076 is a 10 inch trapezoid facia kit made for a range of Volkswagen models. It's moulded from high grade ABS plastic so it holds up well over time and sits flush with your dashboard. This kit gives your new head unit a factory look once it's fitted. Product overview The FP3076 facia kit from Aerpro is purpose built to mount an aftermarket trapezoid shaped head unit into the dash of compatible Volkswagen models. Rather than leaving gaps or an odd shaped hole around your new stereo, this kit frames it neatly so the finished job looks like it was always meant to be there. It's made from a high grade ABS plastic, which Aerpro chose for its durability and its ability to hold a finish that matches the rest of your vehicle's dashboard. Features and benefits High grade ABS plastic, built to last: This kit is moulded from a durable grade of ABS plastic, so it resists cracking and discolouration over years of use. It means your facia won't need replacing every time you service the car, and it keeps the install looking tidy long term. Dashboard matched finish, a factory look: The finish is designed to match your vehicle's dashboard colour and texture. Instead of an obvious aftermarket panel, your new head unit sits in a surround that looks like it was fitted at the factory. Technical specs Specification Detail Application 10 inch trapezoid head unit Frequently asked questions What vehicles does the Aerpro FP3076 fit? It suits a range of Volkswagen models including the EOS, Golf MK5 and MK6, Passat, Polo, Scirocco, Tiguan, Beetle, Transporter T5 and T6, Amarok, Caddy and Jetta, across the year ranges Aerpro lists for each model. If you're not sure your exact model and year is covered, contact us and we'll help confirm fitment. What size head unit does this facia suit? This facia kit is made for a 10 inch trapezoid shaped aftermarket head unit. The cutout is shaped specifically to that format rather than a standard rectangular double DIN opening. Will this work with the Aerpro AM1205D head unit? No. Aerpro confirms this facia kit is not compatible with the AM1205D 12.3 inch head unit. If you're fitting that unit, you'll need a different facia kit. What is the facia made from? It's moulded from a high grade ABS plastic. This gives it a long service life and a finish designed to match your Volkswagen's dashboard colour and texture. Does fitting this facia require professional installation? Many customers fit facia kits themselves, but it pairs with an aftermarket head unit install which can involve dash disassembly and wiring work. If you're not confident with trim removal or vehicle wiring, we recommend having it fitted by a qualified installer.
