F2 EcoHull

F2 EcoHull, biocide-free antifouling on a hybrid-polymer base F2 EcoHull is a biocide-free antifouling, more precisely a fouling-release system with Zeronic™ on a hybrid-polymer base. Instead of killing growth with biocides, an ultra-smooth, water-repellent surface gives fouling almost nothing to hold on to, so it releases easily. Applied and maintained correctly, one coating lasts 5+ years, with no annual repainting. What F2 EcoHull delivers 5+ years of protection, with correct application and care Biocide-free, metal-free, with nothing leaching into the water Up to 4% more speed thanks to the smooth surface Not flammable Can be used on Lake Constance, in Swiss lakes and other biocide-restricted waters, in both fresh and salt water Suitable for fibreglass (GRP), carbon, aluminium, steel and wood This set contains Adhesive Coat and Top Coat, no primer. Which primer do you need? That depends on your hull. Over sanded old antifouling, you need a primer. We currently recommend Hempel Underwater Primer, or Hempel Light Primer in white under the white Adhesive Coat (sand off the old antifouling completely first). On a new or bare hull, you need a 2K epoxy barrier primer as the base instead. Adhesive Coat and Top Coat then go on top of either one. The surface calculator shows you which route your boat needs, and the details are in the FAQ below. Colours The colour comes from the Adhesive Coat, available in Black, Royal Blue or White. The Top Coat on top is transparent, optionally with a Silver Sparkle effect that makes application easier to control. There is no performance difference between the colours. Safety information Warning. H317: May cause an allergic skin reaction. H319: Causes serious eye irritation. Wear protective gloves and eye protection. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse with water. Observe the safety data sheet. For the propeller, shaft and saildrive, F2 OptiProp completes the system.
