Finn Skirt - Digital Sewing Pattern
The Finn Skirt is an elastic waist skirt with angled panels of gathered tiers. Two views are available. View A is a subtle take on the handkerchief hem - the panel points coming together at a low angle. View B is a more voluminous option with the hem point being more pronounced. Both views are finished with a generous mitred hem. Designed for medium weight woven fabrics. This pattern is available in sizes A to N, in three separate height ranges - petite, regular and tall. The petite length has been drafted for a height of 5’3 (160cm). The regular length has been drafted for a height of 5’7 (170cm). The tall length has been drafted for a height of 5’11 (180cm). Please be aware that this is a pull on skirt. The waistband and waist circumference have been drafted to be slightly larger than the hip measurement, so it can be pulled on. The hip measurement should be the most important when choosing a size. The finished waist measurement can be altered by how tight or loose you cut your elastic. I recommend making a toile first to work out any fitting alterations you may need, before cutting into your chosen fabric.
