Petunia Supercascade Mix

Petunia Supercascade Mix is a grandiflora petunia variety (Petunia grandiflora) known for its extra-large, ruffled blooms and trailing habit, making it a popular choice for containers, hanging baskets, and garden beds. The mix features a stunning combination of classic colors including red, pink, white, blue, salmon, burgundy, and bicolors, creating a lush, colorful display throughout the season. Supercascade is bred for early blooming, weather tolerance, and continuous flowering, even in challenging conditions. To care for Petunia Supercascade Mix, plant in a location with full sun exposure and ensure the soil is well-drained and fertile. Water regularly, especially in containers, but avoid letting the soil become soggy. Deadheading (removing faded flowers) encourages more blooms and keeps plants tidy. For bushier growth and enhanced flowering, you can pinch back young plants early in the season. Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 2–3 weeks to support continuous blooming. With minimal care, this variety provides a long-lasting, cascading show of vibrant color. Petunia Supercascade Mix grows to a height of 10–15 inches with a trailing spread of up to 24 inches, producing an abundance of large, 4–5 inch trumpet-shaped flowers. It thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, blooming from spring through fall. This variety is specifically designed for larger flower size and better garden performance than traditional trailing petunias. Its strong stems and mounding-trailing habit make it ideal for window boxes, planters, and ground cover in garden beds. The Supercascade series is also valued for its resistance to weather damage, maintaining its color and form even in wind and rain.
