Vintage Braided Suture Cord
Vintage braided silk suture cord was originally made to be sterilized and repackaged to be used in the Medical profession. Cord is braided silk and very strong with many strands as shown in the picture. Made by Pearsall's Limited in the 1970/80's. Exceptional for hand sewing, beading, bookbinding and conservation. Pearsall's used logwood dye and a beeswax finish. 25 yard skein.
