Japanese Tapas: Fail-Proof Tataki & Summer Salads from Tokyo (4 hrs)

Delicious, fancy, light and fresh — and everyone loves them. An hour of prep, and everybody asks for the recipe. Great with a glass of wine. What more do you want? You know the feeling: you loved it in class, then two months later at home, you can't quite remember the details and the magic isn't there. (Anyone been there?) That can't happen here. There's nothing to forget — you already slice, blanch and toss. Just swap the ingredients, and it tastes like a Tokyo izakaya. Make the dressings once, keep them in the fridge, and that flavour is there every time — for guests, or a quiet night just for you. Of all my classes, this is the one you'll cook most at home.
