60S COCOON PENDANT BY GOLDKANT LEUCHTEN A rare Mid Century cocoon pendant shade by Goldkant Leuchten. Circa Germany, 60s. An exceptional example of design. Its made by spraying a specialised liquid polymer resin over the shade frame using a spray gun, mimicking how a silkworm spins its web, hence 'cocoon'. This will give off a soft glow when lit. A few light marks across but this is in excellent vintage condition. This can be attached to a current lighting fixture in a ceiling but this also comes with a lamp holder and short white flex which can be wired directly into a ceiling. Measures Diameter 44 x H33cm
