1970s Italian Plate
Rather wonderful expressionist art plates of horses by Italian ceramicist Giorgio Poggi, founder of ceramics manufacturer San Giorgio in Albisola, Liguria. I presume these were made in the 1960s/70s. Giorgio Poggi is best known for his fluid sgraffito decorations and his hand-brushed organic majolica and glazes. Price for ONE plate only. I have two different ones available. Made in Italy from glazed terracotta. Dia. 21cm PLEASE NOTE: These are vintage items so small signs of use are to be expected but they are in full working order with no chips or cracks.
