Our smallest rotary cutter, the lightweight Midnight Edition 28mm Rotary Cutter is designed for detailed cutting and navigating tight curves with ease. It features the same comfortable handle design as our other Rotary Cutters and is fully ambidextrous, making it comfortable to use in either hand. The cutter comes equipped with one of our bestselling Midnight Edition 28mm carbon steel rotary blades and is packaged in a reusable felt bag for convenient storage. This cutter is ambidextrous and can be used in either the right or left hand. BLADE DURABILITY This can vary from person to person and how one uses their cutter, as well as the type of cutting mat they have. We tested our blades at various fabric shops in Toronto, Canada, and after using them for up to 8 hours a day, five to seven days a week, each shop got between 3 - 4 months of use from one blade! DESIGN This 28mm rotary cutter features a lightweight straight handle with a quick push-to-release button. It measures 6" from top to bottom. RECOMMENDED USE Ideal for detailed cutting, tight curves, small shapes, appliqué, quilting, and intricate patterns. MAINTENANCE TIPS Wipe down the blade and lubricate the parts with oil once a month. Fast forward to 2018, their son Roy and his wife Ursula have brought the company to Toronto, Canada, bringing with them the same Love, Dedication and Happiness that made it all possible.
