It debuted at the 1970 Geneva Motor Show, immediately becoming one of the main attractions of the event. It was subsequently exhibited in the Italian Pavilion at Expo 1970 in Osaka. With a height of less than a meter, the Modulo features an extremely low body and an almost lenticular shape. The wheels are partially covered and integrated into the car's volume. It does not have traditional doors: the entire dome, including the windshield and roof, slides forward to allow access to the cabin. The interiors also adopt radical solutions, with most controls grouped on a sphere located next to the driver.
