Fence Fish - School 505

The natural shape of the tops of stockade fence inspired these fancy fish. Melonart painted the wooden pickets, creating an ocean of one-of-a-kind fishy friends. Each fish in this collection has an eye made from stacked buttons. These have multiple coats of urethane, so they’re suitable for indoor our outdoor display, and they have a string on the back for hanging. This school of four fish connects into one unit measuring 8 inches wide and 12 inches tall, ready to swim across a wall as a single piece. Four fish swimming together: black with teal rings and lime centers, slate teal with matching rings, powder blue with orange rings, and rust orange with lavender rings and lime centers. Made from real fence pickets, so expect a few honest imperfections: rough patches, knots, and other marks of a life once spent outdoors.
