Wildcrafted Mushrooms • Triple-Extracted • Honey Elixir From the Forest Floor Elixir 🍄🌲 Lion’s Mane, Turkey Tail, Chaga & Reishi in a slow, multi-stage mushroom extract finished with honey. Some of the forest’s most extraordinary treasures never bother reaching for the sun. This little bottle gathers four fungal allies with very different chemistry, traditions and research stories, then gives them the time and complementary extraction methods they deserve. 🍄 Ingredients Wildcrafted Lion’s Mane, Turkey Tail, Chaga, Reishi, honey & alcohol. 2 fl oz. Contains honey and is not vegan. 🌿 What Each Mushroom Actually Brings Lion’s Mane (Hericium erinaceus) Lion’s Mane contains beta-glucans and other polysaccharides, along with compounds that have drawn particular interest in nervous-system research. Small human trials and recent systematic reviews suggest possible benefits for aspects of cognition and mood, especially with repeated use, but the human evidence is still developing and different preparations are not interchangeable. Turkey Tail (Trametes versicolor) Turkey Tail is rich in beta-glucans and polysaccharide-rich fractions. Standardized Turkey Tail-derived preparations such as PSK and PSP have been studied for immune modulation, including as adjuncts in some cancer-treatment settings. Those clinical extracts are not the same thing as this whole-mushroom elixir, so we do not borrow their outcomes and paste them onto this bottle. Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) Chaga naturally contains polysaccharides, phenolic compounds and triterpenoid-related constituents. Laboratory and preclinical research has reported antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and immune-modulating activity. Human clinical evidence is still sparse, so Chaga’s most dramatic internet claims are far ahead of the science. Reishi (Ganoderma species) Reishi contains beta-glucans and triterpenoids, including ganoderic-acid-related compounds. Human research has explored immune function, quality of life and metabolic outcomes, but results are mixed and high-quality clinical evidence remains limited. Its long traditional history is real; so is the need for better modern trials. Honey Honey gives the extract body, sweetness and a beautifully old-fashioned apothecary finish. Human research supports honey for soothing cough associated with upper-respiratory infections, but the amount and purpose of honey in this elixir are not equivalent to using a studied cough dose. Alcohol Alcohol is not decorative here. It acts as an extraction solvent for constituents that water does not pull as efficiently, helping broaden the chemistry captured from the mushrooms. 🌲 Why We Use More Than One Extraction Method Mushrooms are structurally tough. Their cell walls contain chitin, and their useful constituents do not all behave the same way in a single solvent. Hot water is especially useful for extracting many water-soluble polysaccharides, while alcohol can capture a different range of compounds, including many triterpenoid-rich fractions. Our process uses several intentional stages rather than a one-and-done soak: Steam processing prepares the mushrooms before extraction. Fermentation is used as an additional preparation stage before the solvent extractions. Hot-water extraction targets water-soluble mushroom constituents, including many polysaccharides and beta-glucans. Long alcohol extraction continues for approximately three months to capture alcohol-soluble constituents that water alone can miss. No shortcut powder pretending to be an extract. No single quick soak. Just fungi, solvents, time and an unreasonable amount of patience. 🍄 🥄 How to Use Shake well before use and follow the serving directions on your bottle. Take directly or add to tea, coffee, cacao, water, smoothies, mocktails or whatever daily ritual earns a place on your counter. 🌿 What You Won’t Find Here Artificial colors or flavors Synthetic fillers or unnecessary additives Soy Gluten-containing ingredients Any attempt to pretend four fascinating mushrooms are a miracle cure The Wild Indigo Way 🌲 Our apothecary is rooted in plants and fungi, old traditions, modern curiosity and a stubborn preference for knowing what an ingredient actually does. We grow or gather from the land when it makes sense, source thoughtfully when it does not, and would rather explain the evidence than dress uncertainty in sparkles. The forest keeps some of its best secrets close to the ground. 🍄🌲✨ Safety & evidence note: Mushroom products can cause allergic or gastrointestinal reactions and may interact with medications or medical conditions. Speak with a qualified clinician before use if you are pregnant or nursing, have an autoimmune condition, take immunosuppressive, anticoagulant, antiplatelet or glucose-lowering medication, are preparing for surgery, or are receiving cancer treatment. This formula has not itself been tested in clinical trials. Research on standardized extracts or isolated constituents does not automatically establish the same effect for this preparation.
