Reimagined Plastics - White Circles
Translucent white rings drift like soap bubbles across a gray field, over a swirling black form that seems to be doing a lot of thinking. Strings of colored dots (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple) run through the black like a string of lights, a small riot of color in an otherwise monochrome room. Made by Karen Randolph from ironed recycled plastic and other salvaged materials. The piece is framed in black between two panes of glass, so light passes through it. One of a kind. Finished size: 7" x 9" (framed).
