Upcycled Khadi Jacket - Mugilu
Description: This upcycled khadi jacket is made from surplus handspun, handwoven pure cotton khadi fabric collected from Khadi Bhandars. The fabric is sorted, washed, and joined over months before cutting a single pattern. It is light enough to wear buttoned up as a top or open as a layer. The jacket has side slits and a back hem vent for ease of movement and sitting, plus cuff slits that let you fold the sleeves for a relaxed look. Each upcycled piece gives discarded cloth a full working life and offers you a versatile one-of-a-kind jacket. Details: Mandarin collar, full front opening with metal buttons, full sleeves with slit, vent on back hem, 2 patch pockets in the front, with side slits, and contrast stitching detail. Important: As each garment is stitched from surplus khadi fabric, the colour shade, joins, and panels will vary from one piece to the next and differ from the image shown. The last image shows the fabric pile. Colour: Shades of grey and blue. Weight: Approximately 250 grams/jacket. Care: Hand wash separately at home in cold water with mild detergent, then dry in the shade. Size: Find the size chart above the size buttons. Note: The dress form is 5'5" tall, has a 34.5" bust, and wears size S. The price shown is for the jacket only. Stoles are available here.
