PTG M177 / M178 Billet Camshafts Set

The result of over four years of development. Introducing the PTG M17X Billet camshafts. Pushing the performance of the AMG engine platform to its limits is part of the PTG DNA. We are extremely proud to have made a significant contribution to the development of the M17X engine platform. We can proudly state that we now offer a complete valvetrain assembly for the engine, whose performance and longevity we believe will stand the test of time for years to come. The image shows the M178 engine camshaft and valvetrain assembly, which includes a billet camshaft fully designed and machined to the customer's specifications. The camshaft is designed for engine speeds of up to 8,000 rpm. The assembly also includes Inconel valves designed for extreme loads, lightweight titanium valve retainers, and optimized valve springs for higher boost pressures.
