Cambridge Audio Spira Turntable

SRP: $499 The player your collection deserves, from the first record to that latest release. Spira brings more than half a century of Cambridge hi-fi engineering to your records, connecting to anything, arriving ready to play from day one and giving you a route to better sound as your collection grows. Connects to anything Play a record through whatever you already own, or whatever you buy next - an existing hi-fi, a new amplifier, active speakers, a Bluetooth speaker, even headphones for late-night listening*. No stressful research required before the first play. Ready to play. Upgrades over time. Every Spira arrives fitted and aligned, ready to play from day one. As your collection and your ear develop, Spira grows too - a new stylus or cartridge unlocks more detail, and a removable headshell makes upgrading and maintenance easy The beating heart of your system. Make a statement; choose your Spira from a range of colours that match a mood or lifestyle. Build a hi-fi system around it or just add active speakers and let the music flow. Made by people who love music. We've been engineering award-winning audio systems since 1968, designed by people in London who love music as much as engineering. Spira brings that same thinking to vinyl - made so nothing gets between you and the record you're playing. Engineered for the long play A cartridge that's ready from the first play Every Spira arrives pre-fitted and aligned with an Audio-Technica cartridge, ready to play from the first record - and upgradeable in seconds to the 3600LE elliptical stylus as your ear develops. Real control, not fixed to default Adjustable tracking force and anti-skate, plus a removable headshell enabling straightforward cartridge changes, give you real control over how the record's tracked - not fixed and forgotten. Steady speed, record after record A 1.8kg engineered steel platter improves rotational stability and lower vibration - so music has rhythm and timing from the first beat to the last. One dial, both speeds Belt drive with simple one-dial electronically switching between 33 and 45rpm means changing speed never gets between you and the next record, be it an LP or a single. Phono stage included, with room to upgrade A built-in phono stage connects Spira straight to an amp or active speakers - nothing extra to buy today. As your needs grow, switch to phono output and add an external phono stage for an upgrade. Wireless, without a separate box Built-in Bluetooth transmitter sends your songs to wireless speakers or headphones, so your favourite tracks aren't tied to a cable across the room. Shaped around how you listen A system that looks and sounds complete Hear the full scale of your favourite songs - pair Spira with L/R speakers in a matched colour, for a system that looks and sounds considered, not simply plugged together. Vinyl, at home in a hi-fi system Let music be the soul of your living room – Spira works with your choice of hi-fi separates or build a system with our own AXA25 amplifier, AXC35 CD player and SX50 speakers. Private listening, no compromise Be immersed in the moment with your favourite artist - connect Spira to any wireless headphones or earbuds over Bluetooth for a private listening session, just you and your vinyl. A tonearm built to be tuned Adjustable tracking force dials in the pre-fitted cartridge, or a new one when you upgrade for more precision and detail. A removable headshell keeps Spira in pace with your collection. Built solid, from the plinth up Enjoy music with driving momentum and depth; a solid plinth, 1.8kg engineered steel platter and belt drive, deliver stability – so nothing gets between you and the music. A colour that speaks volumes Your records say something about you – Spira can too. Five finishes, matched to our L/R Active Speakers (compatible with others) - choosing one is as personal as choosing what to play on it. Fifty years, one goal: the power of music. For over 50 years, our engineers have chased one goal: connect people to the power of music. Independently owned, and driven by people who love music first - the same values now shape Spira.
