The 6mm retaining base sits inside the channel, while the flexible fin provides the sealing contact against the adjacent frame, panel or surface. Because the fin is flexible, it can be trimmed slightly where needed to better match the actual gap. The strip is supplied in a 2000mm length and can be cut down before fitting.
