Victorian Griffin Silhouette | 1870

This Victorian griffin is from a pamphlet of silhouettes intended for framing and craft projects. The booklet was dated 1870 and in very bad shape- That said, I was able to rescue many excellent silhouettes from it, some of which will get framed for the shop and the rest will find their way to the booths in Salem. This wonderful little griffin was the best fit for our Night Creatures collection. Refer to photos for size and condition: Very good; float mounted on archival paper in an early 20th century wooden frame.
