Striato d' Italia Courgette organic heirloom

A heritage Italian courgette with a fabulous taste Striato d'Italia courgette or Italian striped is an early and fast-growing Italian heirloom variety. This bush variety is very productive, even in cold weather, and produces beautiful 10 inches dark green fruits with light green stripes. The texture is firm, excellent with a wonderful flavour. The flowers can be used for courgette blossoms recipes and the courgettes are best picked small for the best flavour. Transplant when all risk of frost has passed, leaving 1m between the plants. The vines will spread therefore it is advised to provide a support. We grew the vines outdoors however for extended harvest, it may be better to grow them in a greenhouse.
