FANTASTICAL BOTANY — A COLLECTED SET OF FOUR WHIMSICAL PLATES

A wonderfully eccentric set of four plates featuring imaginary botanical specimens, curious creatures and delightfully invented Latin-style names. Each plate presents its own fantastical “species,” including an expressive human-faced flower, turning the traditional botanical illustration into something playful, surreal and entirely unexpected. Collected as a quartet, the plates are united by their white grounds, green-edged borders and hand-drawn storybook character. Use them for dessert, salad or afternoon tea—or display them as decorative art. They are especially memorable mixed with crisp linens, botanical greenery and more formal tableware: just enough mischief for a table that refuses to take itself too seriously. Set includes four different designs.
