Founded in 2009, POMDR is a resource for senior dogs and senior people across Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito counties. They find loving homes for senior dogs and for dogs whose guardians can no longer care for them, and their Helping Paw Program helps seniors keep their pets by their side. To date they have rescued and rehomed more than 4,500 dogs. Learn more at pomdr.org.
