Mrs. Yellow, The Lost Wife Series

Mrs. Yellow The Lost Wife Series One of A Kind, Original Art Work (No Prints Recreated) by Fifth House Artist Maitreyee Upadhyay Artist's Note : An homage to the short story, 'The Yellow Wallpaper' by Charlotte Perkins Gillman. This is for the ones who would rather not be swallowed whole by it. For the ones who tried to be part of the system but saw the cage it truly is. I tried to be a wife and I was lost... I belong, now, only to myself. And this is my hope for all those who still feel somehow overworked & underwhelmed by the system. I hope this piece (& perhaps her sisters) can help you see you can yet be untamed. Please take note of the care instructions. The blank ink used on the piece is slightly reflective.
