Block Printed Khadi Saree - Pine Sprigs

Description: This Sanganeri print on Khadi saree is made from 100-count handspun yarn and handwoven in rural North Karnataka. The fabric is hand-printed in Sanganer using vintage wooden blocks and pigment dyes. What makes this saree unusual is not just the print, but the coming together of three processes: hand-spinning, hand-weaving, and hand-block printing. The result is a saree with quiet depth of character, lightweight comfort, and a design that doesn't depend on today's trends. Detail: The charm of vintage blocks and the clarity of geometry combine in this saree. A delicate half-inch border and tiny three-coloured buttis/motifs scattered across the saree meet a bold striped pallu, layered with an overprint of dots. Against the subtle variation of space-dyed yarn, these contrasting elements come together in an unexpected, distinctive way. Colour: Pine sprigs saree with black, deer trail brown, and maroon block prints. Size & Weight: 5.50 meters long and 47 inches wide. It does not include a blouse piece. This saree weighs 600 grams. Care: Hand wash at home in cold water with mild detergent, and dry in the shade. Note: Our sarees are pre-washed, so there's no colour bleeding or shrinkage. The price mentioned is for one saree.
