Adidas SL 72 Vintage - AF Blue / Legacy / Slate - UK 8

Adidas SL 72 Vintage (909495) - AF Blue / Legacy / Slate - UK 8 - 2015A brand new, unworn pair of Adidas SL 72 Vintage sneakers in the AF Blue / Legacy / Slate colourway. This pair is from the 2015 production run and has been kept in storage since its release. It features the period-accurate slim silhouette, nylon and suede upper construction, and a factory-vintage treated midsole finish characteristic of that specific release era.Originally debuted in 1972, the "Super Light" (SL) 72 was specifically designed as a revolutionary lightweight running and training shoe for athletes competing at the Munich Summer Olympics. It was the first footwear model in company history to feature the iconic Adidas Trefoil logo, making it a foundational piece of the brand's heritage. Over the decades, the silhouette transitioned seamlessly from a track innovation into a staple of casual and terrace subcultures across Europe. This 2015 version faithfully replicates the original build, incorporating a traction-focused traction-pattern rubber outsole, an EVA cushioned midsole, and a slim toe profile that sets it apart from more recent commercial re-issues.Product Details Model Code: 909495 Release Year: 2015 Size: UK 8 / US 8.5 / EU 42 Condition: Brand New In Box With Tags (BNIBWT) Product Highlights Tags Attached: Includes original factory card tags fixed to the shoe.
