Learn How to Journey Workshop Sun, Dec 6 from 9:30 am to 3:00pm Instructor: Karin Cole $140. Class limited to the first 10 registrants Learn How to Journey Workshop (combined levels 1 and 2) In this one-day workshop we will dive into the theories and practices of shamanism. We will explore how to journey, meet helping Spirits, and have the opportunity to receive messages. We will learn how connecting to our guides in non-ordinary reality can offer insight and understanding, and how we can incorporate the principles of shamanism into our daily lives. Bring: - a drum or rattle if you have one - yoga mat and/ blankets to lay on to be comfortable (there are also comfortable chairs to sit in as an alternative) - eye cover - journal or notebook to write in - water bottle There will be light snacks but feel free to bring something if you’d like as we will have a couple of breaks throughout the day. About the Instructor: KARIN COLE- SHAMANIC PRACTIONER AND TEACHER Karin is a Shamanic practitioner, Certified Professional Coach, and a licensed massage therapist. She began studying shamanism under the direction of Dr. Cecile Carson in 2009 and after several years of training, completed an apprenticeship and became an elder in the community. She is the owner of Monarch Integrative Care, LLC in Brighton, NY and has been with the Palliative Care Team at the University of Rochester Medical Center for over twenty years. She is a level two Reiki practitioner, trained in Therapeutic Touch, is certified in Somatic Therapy for trauma, and is a grief specialist. She has also taught continuing education in Rochester, Syracuse, and Manhattan, NY. Karin attends to each individual client with compassion and kindness, helping to identify goals, facilitate healing, wellness, self-exploration, and spiritual growth. Scheduling/Cancellation/Refund Policy: As a small education center, The Purple Door and our instructors rely on the registration process. If the minimum number of registrations is not met, the class will be cancelled/rescheduled and refunds provided. There are no refunds for registrant cancellations within 48 hours of class time; or for no-shows.
