Nutmeg

Our Nutmeg Model-C fountain pen is turned from a rich cognac-brown resin with a copper pearlescent addition throughout. Fine pigments build the warm base color, while the pearlescent component creates a dense golden-copper sparkle that shifts across the surface under light. The exterior is meticulously finished by hand to a smooth, high-gloss polish. Each piece includes a removable ink converter and a pre-installed German nib in the point grade of your choice. The Nutmeg starts as a solid rod before machining on a CNC lathe into four separate pieces: barrel, grip section, cap body, and cap finial. Machined components are taken through successive sanding and buffing grits by hand, building each part up to a uniform finish across the full exterior. Next, a clip is shaped by hand, tumbled to soften the edges, and finished to match. Finally, every pen is fully assembled, engraved, and QC inspected. The Nutmeg Model-C twist cap threads to close and posts securely on the barrel while writing. Pens are prepared in our foil-stamped paper gift box with matching Certificate of Authenticity, pictured. This batch ships within 5 to 10 business days of purchase, separate from any other products in an order. All house pens ship free within the mainland US.
