The jacket from Private White is crafted from mid-weight doeskin, characterized by its supple feel and compact weave. Softer than classic Melton while remaining exceptionally durable and hard-wearing, the water-resistant outer fabric made of 100% British-woven merino wool offers reliable protection in changeable weather. A tubular-quilted wool batting provides pleasant warmth, while the genuine shearling collar offers natural heat retention and high comfort. The regular fit is complemented by reinforced elbow patches and ribbed cuffs. A two-way copper zipper and high-quality military-grade copper hardware from RIRI in Switzerland underscore the meticulous craftsmanship. Etched copper rivets at the neck and hanging loop add subtle accents. Two internal, zip-secured smartphone pockets as well as two external pockets with snap fasteners and side access make the jacket particularly functional.
