Sirkle
You're designing a jewelry label, a skincare box, a magazine masthead. The brief says elegant but not old-fashioned. Most serifs you scroll past land on one side or the other. Sirkle sits in the gap. It's a semi-serif display face. The stems end in sharp, wedge-cut serifs, and the bowls and curves stay round and open. That contrast is what makes it recognizable at a glance. Set it large and the cuts read as deliberate. Set it tight and the letters still hold together, because each character was fitted against its neighbors by hand. The ligatures do the heavy lifting in logotypes. LA, LL, HE, LU and FE lock into single shapes, so a brand name looks drawn rather than typed. Lowercase adds th, tr, ti, fi and ty. Alternates for E, J, K, Q, R, S, V and a, f, g, k let you swap in a sharper or curvier form when a word needs it. Use it for logotypes, signage, posters, packaging and editorial headlines. Keep the supporting text quiet. At display sizes, Sirkle doesn't need help. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Need help determining what license you need?
